Terms of Service
These terms govern use of KAIRO by businesses, staff members and customers. KAIRO provides booking software. The business offering the appointment remains responsible for the service booked.

1. Who operates KAIRO?
KAIRO is a CHRNX product operated by Safewaysuk LTD. References to “KAIRO”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Safewaysuk LTD.
2. What KAIRO does
KAIRO lets businesses create a booking page, list services and prices, manage staff and working times, receive appointments and give customers tools to manage eligible bookings.
KAIRO is a software platform. We do not provide the underlying haircut, trade service, treatment, lesson, appointment or other service offered by a business using KAIRO.
3. Business accounts
If you create a business account, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business and that the information you provide is accurate.
- You are responsible for your services, prices, descriptions, opening hours, staff information and cancellation policy.
- You are responsible for any licences, qualifications, insurance, tax, consumer-law duties or professional requirements applying to your business.
- You must keep account credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You must not use KAIRO for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or misleading activity.
4. Staff accounts
A business may invite staff or self-employed people working from the same business to their own KAIRO area. Staff accounts can manage the parts of their own diary that KAIRO makes available to them, such as assigned bookings, services and availability.
The business remains responsible for deciding who should have access to its KAIRO workspace and for removing access when it is no longer appropriate. KAIRO does not determine whether a person is an employee, worker, contractor or self-employed.
5. Customer bookings
When a customer books through a KAIRO page, the appointment is made with the business shown on that page, not with KAIRO.
- The business is responsible for performing the booked service and dealing with service quality, refunds, deposits, cancellations and complaints about the appointment.
- Customers should review the business’s displayed price, location, cancellation policy and other booking information before confirming.
- KAIRO may send booking confirmations, reminders, changes and cancellation notices on behalf of the business.
6. Customer accounts
Customer accounts are optional unless a particular feature requires sign-in. A customer account may show bookings associated with the same verified email address. You must not access or attempt to access another person’s bookings.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Where KAIRO offers a paid plan, the price, billing frequency, taxes and any trial or introductory terms will be shown before payment is taken. Completing checkout authorises the stated recurring charge until the subscription is cancelled.
KAIRO may display planned pricing before subscription checkout is enabled. No subscription charge is taken unless a user actively completes an enabled checkout.
Promotional vouchers may be limited by number of claims, account eligibility or billing period. The FOUNDING5 offer is limited to 8 successful claims and provides a £5 discount on the first monthly subscription charge only; the standard recurring price applies after that first billing period. KAIRO may also issue private promotional vouchers that provide a different discount or ongoing free access; any such voucher is limited to its stated eligibility and redemption terms.
Any payment or deposit between a customer and a business is the responsibility of that business unless KAIRO expressly shows that an online payment is being processed through the platform.
8. Cancellation of a KAIRO subscription
When paid subscriptions are available, a business may cancel through the account controls made available by KAIRO or by contacting us. Unless checkout states otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
This does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Business customers should contact us if they believe a charge was made incorrectly.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse KAIRO. In particular, you must not:
- upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or deliberately misleading content;
- attempt to bypass access controls, probe security or interfere with the service;
- use another person’s account without permission;
- send spam or use booking/customer information for purposes you are not legally entitled to use it for;
- use KAIRO to collect highly sensitive information where the platform is not appropriate for that purpose.
10. Your content and business information
You keep ownership of content you upload, including logos, cover images, service photos, staff profile photos and business descriptions. You give us permission to host, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve KAIRO.
You must have the rights needed to upload and publish that content. If you publish a staff photo, name, role or introduction on a public KAIRO page, you are responsible for having an appropriate basis and permission to do so.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep KAIRO reliable, but no online service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, fix security issues, change features or suspend parts of the service where reasonably necessary.
We may update these terms as KAIRO changes. If a change materially affects existing paid business users, we will take reasonable steps to give notice before it takes effect.
12. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse, prevent security risks or deal with serious breaches of these terms.
A business may stop using KAIRO at any time. Data handling after closure is described in our Privacy Notice and Data Processing Terms.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
To the extent permitted by law, KAIRO is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or performance of services supplied by businesses using the platform, or for disputes between a business, its staff and its customers.
For business users, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill or loss of anticipated savings arising from use of KAIRO, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.
14. Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Notice explains how Safewaysuk LTD uses personal data. Where KAIRO processes customer or staff personal data on behalf of a business, our Data Processing Terms apply.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, any mandatory rights or jurisdiction protections available to you under applicable law remain unaffected.
16. Contact
