Cookie Notice
This notice explains the cookies and similar storage technologies used by KAIRO.
Last updated: 25 September 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on or read from a device when you use a website. Similar technologies can also store or retrieve information needed for a web service to work.
2. Cookies KAIRO currently uses
KAIRO currently uses cookies or local browser storage that are necessary for core functions such as authentication, security, keeping a signed-in session working and remembering essential interface state.
- Authentication/session: keeps users signed in and helps protect account access.
- Security: helps the platform validate requests and maintain secure sessions.
- Interface state: may remember essential layout preferences, such as whether a navigation panel is open.
At the date of this notice, KAIRO does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers.
3. Google sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, you are sent through Google’s authentication service. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie arrangements. Those technologies are controlled by Google, not KAIRO.
4. Do we need a cookie banner?
Strictly necessary cookies do not normally require consent when they are essential to provide a service requested by the user, although users should still be told about them.
If KAIRO later introduces optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, we will update this notice and introduce an appropriate consent control before those cookies are set where required.
5. Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies that are necessary for sign-in or security may prevent parts of KAIRO from working correctly.
6. Contact
Questions about KAIRO’s use of cookies can be sent to contact@safewaysuk.co.uk.
